Second time back after 6 years and loved it just as much. You have to order the tortilla one hour before the restaurant opens. We were there in January so we didn't have any trouble reserving two portions for ourselves. We loved it so much that we booked a table for the next day and had tortilla again, steak, Gilda pintxos and tomato salad. Amazingly delicious! Very friendly service too. Highly recommended! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. They offer a 1kg or half kg of grass fed retired jersey cow steaks. The potato tortilla is the best I’ve ever had. HOT TIP: the restaurant opens at 1300 and 1900. You can line up to put your name down for a serve of tortilla one hour before they open. I lined up at 1115 and managed to get a spot. They make two tortillas per day, 12 serves per tortilla. The steak is worth the wait, the staff are lovely and friendly. Any reviewers here complaining about the service or the wait, you are a bunch of entitled tourist p*tas. 6 out of five stars.
Bar Nestor is lit!! It is easiest the best restaurant for Basque T Bone steak. The service is super friendly with waiters who have personalities, so that you don't even care that you're standing for two hours at a counter eating. There's 5 things on the menu that you would come here for, the steak obviously, the tortilla, padron peppers, fresh tomato salad and red wine. The total bill was €70 for two, including drinks which is exceptionally cheap for what you get.
