Good collection but there is not a huge amount of items from Poland or specifically greater Poland. Also very little in English. Would recommend to those interested in traditional dress

(Translated by Google) The beginnings of the Ethnographic Museum are inextricably linked with the activities of the Ethnological Society, founded in Poznań in 1910. Helena Cichowicz became its president at that time, who together with her daughter Wiesława started collecting and elaborating ethnographic collections. Their commitment and passion led to the opening, on December 28, 1911, of the first ethnographic exhibition at the headquarters of the Society of Friends of Science in Poznań.
