Great restaurant for Florence/Tuscany style food. Plan to arrive early and line up or have reservations in advance. They were not super quick/efficient, but it was more of a relaxed multi-course meal where each table might see 1-2 parties before they close. All total, we lined up around 7pm and left very satisfied at around 9:30pm. Chicken was my favorite: amazingly moist with fresh veggies and a vinegar pan sauce. We also had many other side dishes and a pasta, which were all very good too. Lastly, highly recommend their house wines: red was fruity and white was very smooth.

Have been coming to Latinis since the 80s and it is still as wonderful as ever. What an experience! We had the Family Menu which featured delicious Florentine flavours. The waiters were attentive and explained each dish as they were served. We were celebrating our anniversary and felt very special. Thank you 😊 Highly recommend x

Let's start with the good things - very good and friendly service and a good choice of wine. Then why 3 stars? The menu is limited (and focused on meat), and there's little care of details. Bread is left on the tables, drying up. I never was served olive oil to have with the bread. Maybe not an Italian tradition? And the food was quite basic in my opinion. The Tuscan crostati was 3 slices of toasted white bread topped with nothing very exciting. The pork ribs were impressive in appearance but not very moist and not especially tasty. The baked potatoes were a bit cold and soggy. I can make them better. Finally the red wine came at room temperature, meaning at least 25 degrees. I had to ask for a bucket of ice so that I could taste a 35 euro half bottle of Brunello decently. I was truly disappointed.
