We booked this dinner for an anniversary dinner. We love trying Michelin restaurants in the places we travel. I was so excited as they also had a cocktail pairing which is something I have not seen and given I am allergic to wine this set the night up to be special. The food was nice and there were some good dishes - although they were small they lived up to the star. Where it wasn’t such a great experience was the service which was chaotic with very limited explanations and the timing of the dishes. Some would arrive just as you were finishing one dish or some you would be waiting for 20 minutes. The cocktail pairing also was not overly explained and didn’t come out with particular dishes. Out of the 6 3 of them basically were the same cocktail if you can call it that. We appreciate we went on the f1 weekend but to be sitting next to a table of 6 that took over the restaurant, were super loud and assume were famous by how much attention the staff were giving them including the chef it would have been nice if they were either told to keep the noise down or offered a private room to dine in. Personally it was not a favoured dinner and I wouldn’t recommend it. It was expensive and just the experience overall was not worth it.

Overly expensive, poor service, a server who didn’t know a word of English, long wait between courses and bad communication. The food is good, but not Michelin worthy. I was disappointed that they didn’t remember it was my dads 70th birthday. They really could have done more for price we paid. Go elsewhere. Not worth it. Especially for a vegetarian. The pork cream didn’t taste good. The lobster was a tiny piece. I can see why this place isn’t as busy as the other high end places in town. One course is just bread and butter. It’s good but I mean…really?

We visited this restaurant one night having booked the ten course experience, and we were definitely not disappointed. With a relaxed ambiance and super informative and friendly staff we were guided through each dish with accompanying local wines. Should you ever find yourself in Budapest looking for a great dinner experience, look no further and book a table here. You won't be sorry! Unfortunately due to the lovely tastes, I completely forgot to take any pictures between the first and the last dish.
