Too crowded. In contrast to Saarland University library, where I studied, that had more private spaces surrounded by book shelves the reading rooms I saw in Heidelberg are large open spaces. You see and hear a lot of people come and leave and come back again. It disturbed my focus constantly. I did not find the library to be a great place to read in quiet.

Place is always packed, but still has lots of room. Besides you can find close to anything here, they got special rooms and best of all: due to being a library, it's dead quiet :)

Really great and comfortable library. Has many books and printers. The bathrooms are clean. All in all, a nice place to study.
