The contemporary art collection is a real surprise. The concept is, each master has one piece to put in this collection, I’m really happy to see Broodthaers, and some American pioneers rarely seen in France such as sol lewitt, Donald Judd, Fontana etc. Library has an amazing book selection, staff are welcoming:)

The museum has a small but varied selection of artworks from the 18th century to modern day. The selection of paintings representing the coast of the Var and landscapes from Provence alone are worth the visit. The building housing the museum is an elegant 19th century structure that has been modernised to suit people with different mobility needs.
