One of the best restaurants in the city that I highly recommend trying, either in bistro or restaurant depending on the occasion. Food is tasteful and of high quality. I advise having an entree with the main platter as portions tend to be on the smaller side.
I had a really good experience, it’s different, the portions are generous, the service is quick, many options were available. I don’t recommend this place for children of any age.
A colleague of mine and I had dinner at le Petit Jarden in Montpellier, France in June of this year and it was definitely the best dining experience I’ve ever had. We were sat at a table in the rear garden area of the restaurant which is beautifully appointed with lush plants and flowers. I ordered the “perfect egg” as a starter with the Iberian pig pluma as my main course. My colleague ordered the artichoke and crabmeat tortellini and the guinea fowl breast. These dishes were all exquisite and we enjoyed discovering the flavours, textures and presentation. The service was impeccable with several people attending our table to ensure we had enough bread, had water and were enjoying the dining experience. The wines available were amazing as well. I understand this restaurant has a Michelin one star rating and this is richly deserved. I can honestly state that dining at this restaurant was the highlight of my visit to Montpellier. If you’re ever in the area, this is an experience not to be missed.
