Beautiful place, with a thousand little bays and beaches. While the city of Korcula can get crowded at times (this is where the cruiseships go...) the rest of the island is more quiet and peaceful. You can get here by ferry from Split.

Beautiful island just off the Croatian coast with good ferry access from Split and Dubrovnik. Old Town in Korcula port has steep cobbled streets, pretty shops/bars and restaurants. Vela Luka at the other end of the island is more modern. Vineyards and wooded hills in the centre of the island, pebbled coves, small harbours by the sea.

An amazing island , beautiful scenaries , deep clear waters , sandy beaches , nice and quiet small villages settled around golfs . I recommend renting a car so that you can explore the whole island . You can also visit the wineries which are famous for Posip and Gyrk wines. It was a very pleasant experience !
